Teenager Becki Smith is a happy, loved daughter of father Ian Smith and mother Lisa Smith. The family’s world is tuned upside down when her disappearance is revealed to be propaganda of a terrorist abduction. With wide news coverage and one of the UK’s largest missing persons search, the family have days to find their daughter before the feared promises are taken into action by the terrorist group and Becki has one opportunity to make an escape.
Characters: Becki Smith. (Hostage and protagonist) : A teenage girl, living in London, England. She's a student with future plans of university and a caring personality.
Aabid Ashraf (Kidnapper / Terrorist and antagonist) : A British male, aged 21 who is apart of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. Aabid Ashraf, former name Reece Jones, grew up in East London, Bethnal Green. After the death of his father, his behaviour dramatically progressed at school, and was later expelled. Roaming the London streets all day, everyday, he quickly became involved with gangs and became radicalised by gang member Mohamed's islamic beliefs.
